The Spring Equinox Fête Blanche is Saturday in Kailua-Kona.
The fête blanche, which translated from French means party in white, is the first of its kind for Hawaii Island and will celebrate the spring equinox, a magical time of the year where humans are called to join with nature in the process of rebirth, according to event organizers.
Fancy mocktails, tasty plant-based finger food, hot beats, and eclectic live music entertainment with a European touch will be featured during the 6:30-10:30 p.m. event at SOUL Center, 74-5617 Pawai Place, Bay G, in Kailua-Kona. The event will feature beats by Max FX with a selection of deep house, tech house, and minimal, and a live performance by Fatmagic (www.fatmagicmusic.com).
Attendees are asked to dress in white for this event. Tickets are $15 presale; $20 at the door.
